Neither Here Nor There engages and incorporates the viewer within its concepts of non-linear time, location, existence, performance, and voyeurism. The scene utilizes light to create a surreal space and distort the linear notion of time while physically taking place in an actual location.
Neither here nor there captures the uncomfortable nature of "new normal." The creation of the camera obscura element combines two practices; Sculpture and Photography. The primary use of video conveys the conceptual aspect of this project, creating a surreal world within my home and neighborhood surroundings while also confining me to these two worlds and questioning whether or not I exist at all, in either time or place.
